4 cups water
2 celery stalks, diced
3/4 cup long-grain converted rice
1/3 cup slivered almonds
1 pkt (1.5-oz) dry chicken soup mix
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Lightly grease crock-pot and combine all ingredients inside; stir well to mix.
Place lid on cooker and cook on low 7 to 10 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours. Cook until rice is tender!
